IEL has specific expertise in successfully managing major industrial projects including pipelines, Alberta Oil sands development, offshore and onshore oil and gas projects, energy development in sensitive areas, coal bed methane, and mining development. IEL’s consulting services facilitate effective decision-making and develop best practices in the interrelationship between companies, governments and communities. The IEL approach focuses on streamlining regulatory applications and minimizing third party conflict.

APPLIED AQUATIC RESEARCH (AAR)

aa_logo3AAR provides highly specialized services focusing on fisheries management. AAR has a proven record of managing fisheries assessments for major pipeline projects. AAR personnel have worked on hundreds of projects across western Canada, the Arctic, and internationally to address challenges introduced by development on aquatic ecosystems. AAR provides practical solutions to meet the diverse needs of their clients. Throughout their operational history, they have demonstrated their ability to successfully manage projects, collect field data efficiently and effectively, correctly analyze and present data, and produce concise technical reports. Staff have also been participants on compensation negotiations with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL DYNAMICS INCORPORATED (EDI)

EDIEDI is a western Canadian company with offices in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory; Vancouver and Prince George, British Columbia; and Grande Prairie, Alberta. EDI specializes in fisheries and wildlife biology, erosion and sediment control, environmental monitoring, environmental assessments, environmental planning, watershed management and restoration, and habitat mitigation and compensation. Through their network of offices, and their diversity and breadth of experience, EDI is able to take a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to the design and implementation of environmental impact assessments including large-scale energy projects.
